In Turkey he successfully finished the mechanical engineer studies. In 2004 he completed his mechanical engineering studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen with specialization in general mechanical engineering. Following his studies he worked as research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the field of Technology of Energy Supply Systems and Energy Conversion. His major task consisted of scientific processing / academic editing of research projects such as development, construction and testing of a reformer for dynamic fuel gas generation from natural gas for polymer membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) for use in the hausing energy supply system.
He subsequently was employed at GEA Bischoff (formerly known as Lurgi Bischoff) in Essen, Germany as project manager in the field of plant engineering in international projects. The GEA Bischoff GmbH supplies gas purification systems for various industries, in particular for non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, steel and iron as well as cement and glass industries.
He gained further experience during his next work as project manager in the field of process and environmental engineering within the business unit metallurgy and environmental engineering at the company SMS group GmbH (SIEMAG). The SMS group GmbH is an internationally active company in the field of plant and machine engineering for the processing of steel and non-ferrous metals.
After that he worked as project manager at the company Hamon Research-Cottrell. Hamon Research-Cottrell GmbH is the European Branch Office of the Hamon Group with its head office in Cologne- Germany, and it is the competence centre for electrostatic precipitator (electro filter), hybrid filters and bag filters.
Afterwards he carried out as a freelancer for the company Danieli Corus B.V. He was assigned as Senior Process Technologist for engineering and commissioning of the gas cleaning plant for three BOF (converter) of his client Arcelor Mittal Krivly, Ukraine. The gas cleaning plant (GCP) for this project consists of a cooling stack, wet-scrubber (annular gap element), mist eliminator, primary ID-Fan, and flare stack. Danieli Corus B.V., based in the Netherlands, is part of the Danieli-team and is active in the field of plant engineering for blast furnace ironmaking and BOF steelmaking.
